Where your data lives: CommonWise currently stores customer data with cloud providers in the United States; Canada-only data residency is not yet available. Canadian associations remain responsible under PIPEDA (and Québec's Law 25) for information transferred outside their province: Québec organizations should complete the privacy impact assessment Law 25 requires before transferring personal information outside Québec. On request we provide our sub-processor list and security documentation to support that assessment.
AI never decides
AI drafts and flags; people approve. Fines, legal matters, reserve moves and binding Board actions always need a human.
Answers cite sources
HOA IQ answers from your governing documents and shows the source of each answer.
Every AI action is logged
Model, prompt version, inputs referenced, output and status are recorded for review.
Autonomy you control
Each AI capability is set to Off, Assist, Draft for approval or Automatic by your Board.
